Recipe of the month
Welcome to the new and improved thinkvegetables.co.uk. This website continues to be the definitive source of information about vegetables. As well as information on all the main vegetables including how to use and store them, you will find delicious recipes, stunning photography and nutrition information.

New features on the site include the nutrient search where you can find information about vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals, and details of which vegetables contain them and in what quantities. We have also introduced an 'easy-to-use' seasonality function so you can find out which vegetables are in season during any month of the year.

You will also see that we have introduced new sections for the media and a learning resources area.

To make best use of the site we recommend that you register using the link on this page. The site will be updated on a regular basis with new recipes and other information, so why not add thinkvegetables.co.uk to your favourites.

We also provide a regular newsletter for the media. Click here to sign up.
Full of Beans

New to thinkvegetables.co.uk this summer is a Bean & Pea themed children's holiday activity pack.

The endless days of summer can be a bit boring for little ones with nothing to do, so here you can download activity sheets which are educational, lots of fun to do, and will keep them busy.

Suitable for Key Stage 1 pupils, choose from traditional English games, activities and sports to lessons in cookery, gardening and even botany.

The 5 a day campaign is the government's initiative to encourage us all to eat five portions of fresh fruit and vegetables every day. Click here for more information...
